The Maximalist ruffles here seen at Rodarte may look a world away from the corporate workwear world , however by taking the essence of the feminine ruffle and adapting it to more simplified garments and shapes. A single ruffle on a pencil skirt for example , is a great nod to the catwalk trend without being to avant garde or distracting from a workwear feel.
